THE TEAM a. Key Personnel: · The Managing Director of the company is Mr. Sandip Goswami, basically a Geologist, was Vice-President of Scintrex Ltd. and through it he was managing companies like Micro-g Solutions, USA; Lacoste & Romberg, USA and Auslog, Australia. He also served as a Member of the Board of many Canadian Geophysical companies and currently he is a Director of Pico Envirotec. His technical, organizational and management skills are recognized internationally. He has key contacts in all major geophysical companies worldwide and is able to draw upon their expertise, as and when needed, for Nexterra. · Manager-Operations, Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, who worked as Assistant Manager (Geophysics), Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd .for the past 17 years will lead the field team. Before joining NexTerra, he has worked in diverse field conditions in different parts of India using a variety of geophysical exploration tools, surface as well as borehole. He has conducted geophysical exploration (ground and borehole) for coal/ lignite, coal-bed-methane, basemetals, geo-technical/foundation studies, and saline water intrusion in the eastern coast of Tamilnadu employing various geophysical methods. His academic background of a Bachelors degree in Applied Geology and a Masters degree (M.Sc.) in Exploration Geophysics, both from I.I.T., Kharagpur has helped him in all his endeavors. · Field Crew:To provide ground and borehole logging services to our clients, Nexterra has a team of both experienced and trainee geophysicists and one electronics engineer. An experienced senior geophysicist having more than 15 years of experience in ground geophysics always leads the field party and geophysical logging of bore holes. The team members have successfully conducted multi-method geophysical surveys for base metals, gold, coal, lignite, coal-bed methane and various other minerals in all parts of India.

Nexterra is the sole authorized agent and representative of all the above companies in India and organizes sale of their equipment and instruments besides drawing upon their expertise in the field of varied geophysical services. 4. Services Offered a. Ground Geophysical Services:Nexterra has a very comprehensive and state-of-the-art ground geophysical instruments, equipment and systems for conducting geophysical surveys in the field for geophysical mapping, exploration for base metals, coal, coal-bed methane, gold, diamond and almost all the mineral deposits. Nexterra has capability to undertake the following ground geophysical surveys. · Gravity Surveys · Magnetic Surveys · Resistivity 2D & 3D · IP · EM · MT & CSAMT b. Bore-hole Geophysical Services:Nexterra has the full compliment of surface electronics, winch systems, logging cables and down hole tools for conducting slim-hole geophysical logging of bore holes for coal, coal-bed methane, and other minerals primarily drawn from their collaborator and principal M/s Auslog Pty Ltd., Australia. In addition, depending upon the specific requirements of the clients, we procure/hire any special down hole tool from other sources as and when necessary. Please refer to the instruments section for all available winches and down hole tools. 6. Strength of Nexterra Geophysical Services:Nexterra’s Ground and Bore Hole Geophysics Units are newly established but the human resources involved, the senior management personnel and the foreign collaborators have unmatched expertise and experience in the field of ground and bore-hole geophysics.
